About Sally Gaither

Hi! I’m Sally, a 20-year-old college student who grew up in Tennessee and now goes to school out in California. I’ve always loved to travel. Growing up, I spent time exploring places across the Americas and a bit of Europe. But when I moved out west for school, I unlocked Asia, and it completely changed the game for me.

I’m starting this blog for two reasons. First, I’ve planned all of my Asia trips since starting college by myself, and I want to share my journey — the mistakes, the crazy stories, and the beautiful moments that come with figuring out how to plan epic trips. Second, I’m about to study abroad in Nepal this fall semester, and I want to document my time there and all the amazing stories I know I’ll come across.

My travel style is definitely budget-focused (broke college kid over here), but I always make room to splurge on good food. I love a mix of city exploring and outdoor adventure, and I definitely lean toward the more extreme side of activities when I travel — skiing, climbing, you name it. I’m also not really a “relax on vacation” type. I want to do everything, see everything, and make the most of every second.
